John M. Blume

John M. Blume received a B.A. from Washington & Lee University in 1954 and an LL.B from Rutgers University in 1956.  He is the recipient of the 1991 Essex County Bar Association Civil Trial Award, the 2000 James J. McLaughlin Award, and the 1990 TANJ Trial Bar Award.  Mr. Blume is also a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the New Jersey State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the American Board of Trial Advocates, and was listed in The National Law Journal’s Top 12 Litigators in New Jersey.  He is a frequently sought guest lecturer and has spoken at such prestigious gatherings as New Jersey Trial groups in Medical Malpractice and Products Liability.

Ron Goldfaden

After graduating from Kean University with a B.A. in 1972, Ron Goldfaden went onto Delaware Law School of Widener University for his J.D. in 1976.  He is a Board Certified Civil Trial Attorney by the New Jersey Supreme Court, and was listed in New York Magazine as one of New York Area’s Best Lawyers in July, 2006.  Mr. Goldfaden is a member of a number of professional societies including Million Dollar Advocates Forum, the American Board of Trial Advocates, and the American Trial Lawyer’s Association.

Kenneth A. Berkowitz

Kenneth A. Berkowitz graduated cum laude from Union College in 1971 and received his law degree from Boston University and bar qualifications in New Jersey in 1975.  Mr. Berkowitz served as Adjunct Professor in Trial Presentation at Rutgers University School of Law from 1988-1997, and was listed in the Best Lawyers in America from 2002-2006.  He also secured a record $25 million settlement for a family man from New York who was paralyzed from the waist down at a Caribbean resort.  According official government figures this settlement is the largest personal injury recovery in the history of New Jersey.

Dennis M. Donnelly

Dennis M. Donnelly received his B.A from St. Peter’s College in 1972, his M.A. in 1973 and A.B.D in 1978 from New York University, and his law degree from Rutgers University in 1981.  He has served as the President of the Inner Circle of Advocates from 2005-2007, President of the New Jersey Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates from 2003-2004, and is a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association and the Attorneys Information Exchange Group.  The National Law Journal ranked Mr. Donnelly as one of the top 12 Litigators in New Jersey in 2000, and he was also ranked as one of the Best Lawyers in America from 2001 to 2006.

David M. Fried

David M. Fried graduated from Rutgers University with a B.A. in 1978 and a J.D. in 1981, and is currently a member of two statewide delegates on the Legislative Committee of the New Jersey State Bar.  He has won numerous million dollar settlements, and most recently secured a $7 million settlement for a client paralyzed from the mid-chest down due to an airplane accident.  Mr. Fried is Blume, Goldfaden, Berkowitz, Donnelly, Fried & Forte’s leading lead poisoning attorney, as well as heading claims caused by auto accidents, falls, aviation, and construction incidents. 

Carol L. Forte

Carol L. Forte graduated magna cum laude from Wagner College in 1981, and finished her law degree cum laude at Seton Hall University in 1984.  She is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, the American Trial Lawyers Association, and the American Board of Trial Advocates.  Ms. Forte has been responsible for several multimillion dollar settlements and verdicts including a $12 million verdict for a brain damaged child, $8 million for a botched delivery, and a $5 million product liability case.  She is also frequently listed in The Best Lawyers in America and The National Law Journal’s Top 50 Women Litigators.
